My general strategy tip is always be building an army. I can take on the absurd AI decently, and players mostly. If you really want to be prepared, I recommend absurd. You could go ahead at trying real players, you might learn (watch the replay) and go ahead. 20 patrolling phoenexies is enough to easily take down a zeus. Personally, I find a good combo between unit cannons/Helios (with army ready) + phoenexies PATROLLING do well. Interestingly, a group of 100 of the solar aircraft vs a zeus will actually destroy it- despite the low HP and damage, a large group is effective, but you would be better off with hummingbirds. Nukes are also very costly, but effective. The Orbital battleship is very effective vs a Helios, and a group of them would likely destroy a titan on the ground without anti-orbital support. If you think I'm wrong, or have info to contribute, do add!

Levithans, if the map is naval, may also destroy it. A group of vanguards might also do the job. Sniper bots are ineffective due to the range of the Ares. The best counter would be the Wyrm, just like the Atlas. This means it can take out many things before it even gets in range- It can even kill an atlas at point black thanks to its massive HP. The Ares is designed to punch a hole through even the most turtled of bases, with its huge HP, damage, and range. The Wyrm, if it has no AA escort, is also very deadly- 2 wyrms doing 4 passes will annihilate it. 20 or so sniper bots (Gil-Es?) that run away from the atlas but maintain fire is effective. Normal ground forces are likely to never reach the ares before it demolishes them.Īs such, range is important for the zeus. Having the second highest hp (first is ares) it is very tanky. Spinners aren't that effective, so bring a large amount or phoenixes with your army if they have a Zeus.Įssentially a walking reloading nuke, the Atlas titan is slow but extremely deadly with its HUGE AoE and damage. Hummingbirds do fine, but take longer, therefore more losses. Flak turrets can do fine, IF they're not clustered together. The T2 flak truck is fairly ineffective vs the Zeus, as it needs to be very close to do any real damage. Instead, do a patrol command in the area the Zeus is heading- this way, it can only slowly destroy 1-2 at a time, instead of 5-10 at a time. However, don't just send them charging in- they will cluster and be destroyed instantly. In general, 20 Phoenixes are required to take down a Zeus alone/with one angel. As "Angel" repair platforms shoot down missiles, the hummingbird is less effective if an angel is with it. With that in mind, the best counter is the Phoenix. This means it takes awhile to kill something like, commanders or adv factories, but against clustered invasion forces (especially those that just teleported in) it is VERY deadly.

They key about the zeus titan is that it dosen't do much damage- rather, it does a AoE effect. It is faster than all other titans, and can attack everything except orbital. The Zeus titan is the lightning titan, built by an advanced fabricator aircraft.
Planetary annihilation titan planet combos how to#
I have done some testing today on the various "Titan" class units (besides the raganok, I mean, its just a structure, and the helios) and decided to compile a list of what to do when you see an enemy building a titan, i.e how to counter it.
